Investors In People Award For Abbey
Abbey Corrugated, the UKs leading sheetfeeder, has gained the prestigious Investors in People Award in recognition of its training structure and personal development programmes for its employees. The award was made after independent auditors interviewed 20 employees to find out what training they had received during their time at Abbey. They also examined the whole training and development structure throughout the company including the personal development plans for individual employees, how the various programmes were funded and what action had been taken to ensure the ongoing success of the various schemes. Commenting on the award, Abbeys Nigel Statham-Lee who was responsible for the IIP programme said. "We believe that the training culture here at Abbey is unequalled anywhere in our industry. Abbey not only invests in the best possible equipment, it invests in the best possible training and education for its employees.
