New Managing Director For Abbey
David Coleman has been appointed managing director of Abbey Corrugated following Bob McLellan's appointment as chief executive of David S Smith Packaging Limited. Having joined the David S Smith group in 1997 as managing director of its Burwell plant, David later became managing director of the group's newly constructed flagship corrugating plant at Fordham. Prior to joining David S Smith, David had held a number of key management positions with Lin-Pac including bringing a new greenfield plant at Louth on stream. David started his career in the packaging industry in 1979, and is particularly well known in the sheet sector in which he is widely experienced.
