Abbey Voted Top Supplier
The announcement was made at the Association’s 54th conference held in Stratford on Avon and SPA chairman Richard Jarratt who presented the prestigious award said, "Abbey Corrugated was in at the very beginnings of the sheet plant sector of the corrugated industry. So I am delighted that this award recognises not only the exceptional levels of quality and customer service delivered by the ‘new’ Abbey, but also its 30 year history of commitment and investment in supplying corrugated board to our industry."
Receiving the award, Abbey’s managing director Mark Shaw thanked the association on behalf of all the staff at Abbey. He also congratulated the SPA "on having created a truly magnificent association which will be of long term benefit to the sheet plant sector."
After the conference which was attended by more than 80 delegates, Mark Shaw said, "I couldn’t ask for a better acknowledgement that the efforts we have put into our business, both at Blunham and Kettering, have been right on target. It is the best confirmation possible that we are delivering an even better service to our customers."
Abbey Corrugated has been voted SPA ‘Supplier of the Year’. All sheet plants within the Sheet Plant Association vote annually for the supplier they feel has provided the best overall performance to members.
